Next time I am going to the beach, I am taking a big old can of chain lube with me. Every time I saw a poor beach cruiser bike with a rusty chain, my heart went out to it, never mind it made my teeth grind thinking of those teeth grinding. I suppose it is understandable that salt water + humidity + sand = rusty chain. However, single gear chains need lube too, people!
