Our local harvest festival is always a good deal. A little different each year, but familiar enough that the kids are comfortable. The one place they gouge you is at the pumpkin painting. $5 to have your kids slather some paint on some little pumpkins that all washed off in the rain anyhow. I suppose we can't give them knives and say carve away, so perhaps there is a safer, more permanent way of decorating our little orange friends.
