We let our parakeet out of his cage quite often. While encourage him to use his play-gym since he isn't potty trained (yet), one of his favorite places was on the front tire of my road bicycle. So I took an old worn out tire, cut out a portion, and slapped it in his cage. He seems to like it and hasn't died from rubber poisoning yet. Maybe I should start selling these? Only $5!
